Description
From the owner's personal collection, museum quality antique French Napoleon III black lacquered buffet or bombe chest with bronze and mother-of-pearl inlay, bronze ormolu, original marble top, serpentine front and sides and mahogany interior. A magnificent piece in very good original condition. There is a crack in the lacquer and the marble has surface scratches which can be cleaned up (see detailed photos). France circa 1860
